For over 35 years, Nurture the Next’s mission has been to support parents and the communities where they live in creating loving homes that make children feel nurtured. In 2008, they committed to using evidence-based program models in their daily work. Their programs are rooted in research and proven to positively impact the lives of both the children and the adults in the home. In 2010, they expanded our direct services to families from three counties to 20 counties in Tennessee. Today, they provide in-home parenting support in 30 counties in Tennessee and offer several statewide programs. Previously known as Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee, they recently took on a new name to put greater emphasis on what they do, rather than what they prevent.

This event features a two-day Packet Pick-Up, prior to race day, where participants can pick up their race packets and any last-minute essentials!

Event Information
All runners are encouraged to pick up their race number and shirt prior to race day. If you are unable to attend packet pickup, you can have a family member or friend pick up for you. They must present your confirmation email and a copy of a valid proof of identification for the participant at check-in. Additional pickup is limited to 1 friend or family member.
Acceptable identification includes a valid driver’s license, state-issued ID, or passport. The name on the identification must match the registration.

The Music City Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk will surely become a tradition for you and your family.
Bring the entire family! We welcome all ages and stages of runners/walkers.
Don’t leave the kids at home, bring them out to have some fun! Jogging strollers are permitted along this course. You are welcome to bring your four-legged family members, but PLEASE MAKE SURE you clean up after them.
*Anyone that is planning on bringing their pet or pushing a stroller needs to start at the back of the pack to ensure the safety of all runners.

Thursday, November 24, 2022 parking is in LOT A at Nissan Stadium
Access Directions
Please enter the lot via Interstate Drive or Russell St entrances. Please see the map to the right. All other lots will be locked!
Interstate Drive entrance can be accessed from the North or South
Russel St entrance can be accessed from Woodland Street to N. 2nd or N 1st.

Award Notes
There will be no awards ceremony following the race. Please pick up your award at the timing tent. We will not mail awards.
- There will not be an official awards ceremony. Please pickup your award at the Packet Pickup Tent
- You are allowed to claim a prize in only one category
- All awards are given out within 30 minutes after the last eligible winner crosses the finish line
- Every participant will receive a complimentary t-shirt, a custom finisher’s medal
- You must be present to claim award- no exceptions
- No awards will be mailed after the race
