Bring the whole family to kick off your July 4th celebrations with this traditional run/walk starting and finishing at Centennial Park in beautiful Nashville, TN.
All ages and fitness levels are welcome. Every 5K & 1 Mile participant will receive a finisher’s medal & participant tee!
Registration is non-refundable and non-deferrable. You can transfer your registration to another distance or individual here.
Did you know your furry companions can join in on the fun and earn their own medal, bib, and doggie bandana? Simply select the Doggie Dash add-on during registration, or any time after you register by logging into your Race Roster account, to run with your pup.

All runners must visit Packet Pick-Up to collect their race number and t-shirt. We encourage runners to pick up their packets prior to race morning to avoid long waits and start delays. If you are unable to attend, you can have a family member or friend pick up for you. They must present your confirmation email and a copy of a valid proof of identification for the participant at check-in. Additional pickup is limited to 1 friend or family member.

The Music City July 4th 5K will take place at Centennial Park located at 2500 West End Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203!
Course may change or be rerouted due to city ordinances or at the discretion of the Nashville Police Department and the Nashville Department of Special Event Permits

All paid participants will receive a shirt when they pick up their packet and a medal as they cross the finish line. View 2026 runner items below.
The following categories will receive awards and must pick them up at the awards tent. You may only receive an award in one category. Awards cannot be mailed to you after the race.

Registration is open until 7:50 on race morning. On-site race day registration will be available.
Yes, this is a dog friendly event. Add on the doggie dash and your pup will get their own bib, medal, and a special bandana! Purchase the doggie dash here.
Yes, you can walk. The 5k has a 1 hour time limit.
There is no age limit to participate in the 5k or 1-mile race. The kids run is open to kids 5 and under.
All 5K & 1 Mile finishers will receive a medal.
Yes, you can transfer to another distance or to a friend HERE.
There is no fee for transferring to another distance, but the difference in cost between the two distances will be charged. There is a $5 fee for transferring to another individual.
Your registration is non-refundable and non-deferrable.
Yes, individuals are able to pick up 1 additional packet. They will need the confirmation email and a copy of the ID of the individual they are picking up for.
Yes, race day packet pickup will take place from 7-7:50 AM on race morning. We highly recommend picking up your packet prior to race day to avoid the line.
