The Nashville Half Marathon & 5K is an unforgettable race through the heart of Music City. Designed for runners of all experience levels, this fall event features iconic Nashville landmarks, a vibrant downtown atmosphere, live entertainment, and an exciting finish line celebration.

All ages and fitness levels are welcome. Every participant will receive a commemorative medal & participant tee!

Registration is non-refundable and non-deferrable. You can transfer your registration to another distance or individual, for a fee, here.

Event Information

All runners must visit Packet Pick-Up to collect their race number and t-shirt. We encourage runners to pick up their packets at the expo prior to race morning to avoid long waits and start delays. If you are unable to attend, you can have a family member or friend pick up for you. They must present your confirmation email and a copy of a valid proof of identification for the participant at check-in. Additional pickup is limited to 1 friend or family member.

Acceptable identification includes a valid driver’s license, state-issued ID, or passport. The name on the identification must match the registration.

Travel

Close to Nashville attractions, but away from the late-night noise of Broadway, you’ll sleep well before race day. The on-site restaurant, bar, and outdoor terrace are great spots to wind down with fellow teammates and athletes. Course Cutoffs

There will be 1 cutoff for the Half Marathon. Participants who do not reach this location by the time listed will be asked to cutoff a portion of the course. Course cutoffs are necessary to ensure all participants reach the finish line within the timeline approved by the city agencies.

Pacers

Pacers will be provided for the Half Marathon. Specific pace group times can be found below.

Stroller Starts

We will offer two stroller sections at the start to help both walkers AND runners get into their race pace safely and efficiently.

During the registration process, you will be asked to identify if you will be running with a stroller. After answering yes, you will then be prompted to choose your pace range. Those who identify as a running pace will be allowed to start before the general race giving them a chance to safely and easily get to race pace. Those who identify as joggers or walkers will start in the designated corral towards the back of the back

Fuel on The Course

Water, electrolyte drinks, and energy gels will be provided on the course. There will be one water station for the 5K around the halfway point. 2026 fuel stations coming soon.

Registration is open until packet pickup closes on race morning or the event has sold out.

Are dogs allowed?

No, dogs are not allowed at this event.

Can I walk? Is there a time limit?

Yes, you can walk. The half marathon has a 4 hour time limit, and the 5k has a 1 hour time limit.

What is the age limit?

There is no age limit to participate in this race.

How do I create or join a team? Is there a team discount?

There are no team discounts for this event. 

Will I get a medal?

Yes, all finishers will receive a medal.

Can I transfer to another distance or to a friend?

Yes, you can transfer to another distance or to a friend HERE.

There is no fee for transferring to another distance, but the difference in cost between the two distances will be charged. There is a $5 fee for transferring to another individual.

Can I defer my registration or get a refund?

Your registration is non-refundable and non-deferrable.

Can someone pick my packet up for me?

Yes, individuals are able to pick up 1 additional packet. They will need the confirmation email and a copy of the ID of the individual they are picking up for.

Will there be race day packet pickup?

Yes, race day packet pickup will take place from 6-6:50 AM on race morning. We highly recommend picking up your packet prior to race day at the expo to avoid the line.
